In reply to:

If I were to call you a stupid S.O.B., would you be able to demonstrate this integrity of "not stirring the pot" by refusing to answer or acknowledge my post in any way?

Uh, yeah, I could. Because I don't care enough about you, JC, sock puppets or anyone else in a Web forum enough to let it bother me that much. I mean, we've all been "bothered" by someone at one time or another, but most people learn at a very early age to just ignore people who go out of their way to try to get a rise out of them.

Shoosh, I understand how annoying it can be, but this has been going on for YEARS now. When are you going to just let it go? What you continue to fail to realize is that nobody really cares whether you're telling the truth or not, nobody cares that you're being "slandered" - we're all just here for the show.

Personally, I've followed your history with JC both here and at MC, and I've never witnessed these horrible and unspeakable acts you claim happened. Sure, he's been an annoying little bastard to you by registering an account using your name. But you practically hung a sign over your neck begging someone to do it. Yes, he's "baited" you into many arguments. But again, you took the bait.

John has not had the best experience with these sock puppets (though I must admit I never saw the "Dusty" post he keeps referring to), but he's managed to get through it without feeling the need to remind everyone how much it bothered him in every "sock puppet" type of thread over the last two years. Thus, he really hasn't been bothered since, at least to my knowledge.

Now since I know you're going to reply to me with some other self-serving puddle of monkey piss and attempt to tell everyone how you're the victim and I'm just the insensitive jerk, I'll just let you do it and move on without further posting on this topic.

Now, in case you needed help with that statement, let me say that I'm baiting you again. I'm betting you WILL respond and it probably won't be a "you're right, I should just ignore him and you." But I assure you I'm capable of letting it go.

CreativeGuy for daily tips, tricks and commentary on all things graphic design.

Since JC was the first to dredge up the history of his feud with Shooshie, why didn't you jump on him and tell him to "let it go"?

"What you continue to fail to realize is that nobody really cares whether you're telling the truth or not, nobody cares that you're being "slandered" - we're all just here for the show."

Since when do you speak for everyone here?

In reply to:

Since when do you speak for everyone here?

I would rephrase that to, "Since when do you speak for anyone here except yourself?

Well, then, Why are you stirring the pot by responding to my post, Giz? Geez. There's a dead tree stump in my back yard that could've seen that one coming.

Shooshie

[color:green]Pictures and things

In reply to:

You mean you didn't actually see the e-mails you mentioned? It's not a matter of taking one person's word over another is you have the evidence right in front of you.

One person's word over another?

You must be a lonely asshole, I would never say my wife is "one person".

In reply to:

you decide to stir up a pot of fresh bu||[censored] with a post like that.

You are being unfair to Shooshie. JonnyCat brought up the subject of Shooshie, so Shooshie can hardly be accused of stirring up anything. He was responding. Much the same as you feel entitled to do.

And as some others have pointed out, you don't feel inclined to level the same criticism at JonnyCat for instigating this apparent recurrence of what was to all intents a dormant issue.

It's difficult to understand why you have chosen to attack the wrong party. Perhaps you skimmed the threads? Perhaps you misunderstood the sequence of events?

Whichever, you now have the opportunity to correct the error by posting your apology to Shooshie, and leveling the criticism at the correct person. As a fair-minded contributor, I feel sure that you will want to do so.

Hey, I giggled a little. Thought it was kind of funny, considering the "jokes" he's been pulling on me. But I apologize. It did cross the line a little.

There's a sort of weird double standard around here. It's ok for sick puppets to attack, but mortally wrong for honest people to defend themselves. Sick puppet attacks are jokes. Their puppeteers can justify their "jokes" by making up bizarre slander to defame innocent people. But honest responses to their slander are "whining" or "self-absorbed" or worse. So, I thought I'd try a sick joke, myself. Guess that's not permitted, either.

A place is what you make of it. This place is sick. Maybe since some of the disease has been doctored by the new mod, it will get better now. It'll be whatever you guys want it to be.

Shooshie

[color:green]Pictures and things
