So I come to my office this morning, and discover that my old G4 400 MHz, which I'd put out for students to use in a common area that abuts my office, was stolen over the weekend. It's no great loss, except that now students don't have access to something that they can use to type and surf the web, and that documents that students had saved on the G4 are lost.

Damn!

____________________________________________________
Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive,
But to be young was very heaven!

I truly feel your pain. There is nothing more infuriating than to be ripped off that way. Over the weekend following Hurricane Frances ('04), someone broke into the creative department of the agency I worked at in Ft Lauderdale and stole all the Macs and LCD monitors in the department. They also grabbed my personal Creature speakers.

Unfortunately, the likelihood of nailing the perp and/or geting your property back is slim. Bummer.

Sorry for that, yoyo52..
I suggest USB flash drives for the students to save their work on, I've been using a 128MB for more than 3 years now. 1GB USB flash drives are now cheaper than my old 128MB

www.waleedsgallery.biz
