Loc: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
To show you some of the things we see in this visit, Iíll try posting snapshots whenever I can. Iíll continue adding links of newer shots to this thread as they become available.

021128 Batch:
The first batch was taken on the way from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Kuwait City, Kuwait. The photos are for the road we drove on and some of the things we saw around it. A friend asked for some shots of wild animals, so some camels and sheep are there too. ..

We have a few places with large sand dunes here in the Southern California desert too, but without the camels. Are the camels domesticated or are they just wild camels? Is there such a thing as a wild camel? Interesting photos, I look forward to seeing the rest of them from your Kuwait trip.

Thanks for the pics. The colors on some of the pictures remind me of south-central Illinois (where I lived for four years) in late September or mid-October, when all the harvesting has been finished and all that remains on the fields are vast acres of corn stubble more or less the same color as the desert. No sand dunes, though

Great wits are sure to madness near allied.--John Dryden, "Absalom and Achitophel"

Oh the pictures are fantastic, I enjoyed your captions so much!! So did my dad. The animal pictures were excellent and the desert colors were breathtaking! I am enjoying this trip so much!! Do you think it would cost a bundle to ship one of the camels to NC, lol!!

Lets dance!
