They are offering Photoshop Elements, which is normally $99, for $59 after instant savings, and $29 after upgrade rebate (if you have version 1) tomorrow and Saturday! I don't know if yours does..but wow..I know where I'm heading tomorrow after work! This is great for us non-professionals

Yes, that is a great deal. I don't use PS Elements, but I understand it has many of the same features and capabilities as the full Photoshop has, but for much less of course.

Take note that $30 of that is an upgrade rebate. So unless you have a qualifying product.......you don't get the $30 rebate. I did not look at the $20 Amazon specific rebate. There's always a catch. But, then every store and online retailer has similar deals.

Where I work, we have a rebate on it too, but not priced quite as good, though our list price is less than Amazon's.

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=20348571&loc=16613

With free shipping.

The Compusa deal sounds like the best one.

Never will I buy anything from Amazon.com based on a "promised rebate" - the horror stories I'm reading from people who never got/or cannot get there rebates from that Jaguar purchase a while back!

[color:red] Kiss My Banana!
Visit me here!

There are hundreds of complaints about it on various boards from people who were told they qualified for the rebate before Amazon cancelled the rebate offer, and were later sent a letter saying they weren't going to get it - and there are more from people who were sent the "all to frequent excuse" that they never received the proof of purchase, so they won't receive the rebate.

[color:red] Kiss My Banana!
Visit me here!

Well luckily I did not have that problem. I was also one of the ones that ordered on July 29th or whatever that day was before they pulled the offer. Yeah Amazon sucks if they did that to people.

Which is why you should always shop buy.com. Hehe.

Well, of course, experiences with online shopping can be good and bad no matter where you shop. Overall though, my experiences have been good with Amazon and other online retailers.
