CT=conspiracy theorist

Anyway, watching the video of the bombing raid on the zarqawi safehouse, I saw photos reporting to be kids climbing over the rubble. If you watch the video, you'll see the house appears to have had trees surrounding it. The picture of the kids on the rubble shows no trees.

Now this doesn't really show anything, because there was a large open space in front of the house, and to the one corner there were no trees visible at all for as far as was visible, and that seems to be the direction the photo was taken. So in reality not seeing trees in the rubble picture isn't surprising.

But I'm wondering how long the theorists take to come out and claim zarqawi wasn't really killed.. or was killed months ago, yada yada yada... and claim the "discrepancy" as absolute truth.

Hey I'm an F'n Jerk!® twitter.com/SgtBaxter facebook.com/Bryan.Eckert
One has to assume that Zarqawi was on the periphery of the two 500lb bomb's impact... because his body (his head at least) looked intact.

I saw the film too of the people scavenging through the rubble. Wouldn't you think that whole area would have been out of bounds so that the military could search for documents, laptops, whatever?

Also, I read a that he was identified by his tattoo. Is that a thing a radical islamist would have?

Dead is dead, and that photo sure looked like him. I do suspect that in the rush to get the story out that there is tons of misinformation going round.

So, who gets the $25 Million? If Cheney gets the money we'll start a new thread.

Now he can say "SEE ... I was right.... i knew there'd be CTs all over the place!''

I do think it's very odd - 2 - 500 lb bombs level the place and his body shows a few bruises... one would think they'd be scraping tissue off the bricks for DNA analysis... not a few bruises. but that doesn't change the fact he's been neutralized. But as the movie "Munich" depicts, how many and how bad will his replacements.be ???

Time will tell if this is a turning point for good, ...or one that gets worse..
in these "tit for tat" situations, you're UP one day and DOWN the next.

David (OFI)
