We need to change the laws so that families cannot continue to enter the white house. Once a family member has been a sitting president, no one else (wife, son, daughter, brother, sister, mother, father or whomever) is allowed in for 100 years, at least.

The Kennedy's were unable to establish a White House dynasty. I'd like to think there's no reason why the Bush's should be successful. But just the thought of it -- no matter how far-fetched -- makes my skin crawl. Ugh!

I really don't know much about Jeb. Is his real name Jedediah? Anyway he always struck me as believing George was an idiot too. So maybe he's not too bad. Personally I have never voted for a Bush and don't intend on starting. But, I've never voted for Clinton and would possibly vote for Jeb over Hillary. So Dems you better offer something better. Really anything other than a Clinton or a Kennedy would get my vote over Jeb.

On a side note I'm sure everyone saw a bit of the mano e mano parody of Bush at the 2006 White House Correspondents Dinner. But, here's the entire thing if you haven't seen it. And don't bother linking to another thread if this has already been posted. I don't read many of the posts in this forum and I don't fell like searching for it.

At least GW is starting to make speeches whining about those pesky term limits. Do Presidents at this low of an ebb in their popularity usually recommend their close relatives to replace them? Man, all the rules have changed since this guy came into the highest office.

We are what we repeatedly do. -Aristotle
