But CraigsList been belly belly good to me. Near the end of the school year for most of the colleges and universities - and gawd knows there's a gazillion of 'em in the Boston area. So you've got all these kids packing up their dorm rooms or apartments and looking to dump what ever they can in a hurry (mostly stuff mommy or daddy paid for in the first place). So an hour ago I just picked up an Epson Perfection 3200 for FREE!!! So now I've got the SCSI Umax (also free from CL) with the 8 x 10 trans adapter (courtesy of Mike), and the firewire Perfection hooked up.

Make all the jokes you want. Cool on the scanner. I've been using a Umax Astra for more years than I want to think about, and it's still a horse. Jeeze, what I paid for this puppy . . .

Enough with the hardware.
