Plain text links are also a good idea, I concur. Since you are going with the brushed metal look at the top, which I really like a lot, perhaps you might want to think about a brushed metal surface as the background instead of the black. I think in that case, having squares of the brushed metal surface between the images would look pretty cool, moreso than the black. Just a thought I had in looking at it again.

No, I was actually referring to the fact that you replied to RubenC's post, so I was under the impression you thought HE came up with the idea...

[color:red]Hold on...it's time for a
I like it, but now it needs something to contrast the background and the buttons... maybe a drop shadow on the buttons, or make the background just a shade or two darker than the title art and buttons... I dunno, just an idea.

[color:red] Kiss My Banana!
Visit me here!

I also think that some of the text is hard to read against some of those pics...Maybe you could have a bar at the bottom with a semi-transparent white fill, and put the text on top of that?

At least when it's in the b&w stage, that is..

[color:red]Hold on...it's time for a
OK, this is picky, but what the heck.

The quotation at the center of the page ("The biggest . . . in Bahrain") isn't centered. Also, for the sake of balance, should there be another button on the right of the quotation, parallel to the Membership button?

Great wits are sure to madness near allied.--John Dryden, "Absalom and Achitophel"
