Just because war creates a technology battle between armour and weapons. You create armour that cannot be penetrated by a bullet, and someone will invent a bullet to combat that armour. US arms manufacturers will always try to invent more efficient ways to kill people, while the armour manufacturers try to stop them - trouble is armour nearly always trails penetration technology. And we seem totally unable to stop this stuff getting into the wrong hands and finding its way onto the streets.

In the UK all firearms are banned - and yet people are still dying from being shot. I think it was two years after the total ban, a TV presenter was shot in the head outside her home. Laws is laws, good intentions is good intentions.....but bad guys don't observe either.

- This is gonna get pretty interesting.
- Define "interesting".
- Oh, God, oh, God, we're all gonna die..

I am not for the abolition of guns- I'd like to be but I know in this country it's NOT practical. But I'd be thrilled to have only 6 shot pistols and hunting rifles as the only legal weapons... nothing automatic ! ...and nothing vest piercing, .....aromor piercing ....or with nuclear capacity !

schitt why don't we let Joe 6 pack have a Nuke? or a Patriot missle ?.... RPG !! someone cut you off in traffic...
VAROOM......... BOOM !!!! that'll fix the Mudda F !

I'm with ya again Steve !! It whould be banned ! Police have enough to deal with... they don't need this and we don't pay them enough to tolerate this schitt (risk).

David (OFI)
