as soon as they can muster the troops!!

say... 3-4 years ??

I have one question... why do we waste so much $ and resources making war ? think of the beneficial things it could be used for ! technological advances, medicine, education, 1000 things... NO other country on this planet spends as much as we do - in fact last I checked we spent more than the top 25 COMBINED!!
... a waste in my book!

David (OFI)
According to the latest Zogby Poll. the sooner the better. 64% of the respondents favored some military intervention.

These are surprising findings for me, said Pollster John Zogby, President and CEO of Zogby International, who said a majority of Americans are telling us that they would prefer we pack our bags and leave Iraq now.

And yet, Americans appear ready to do some damage to Iran if it proceeds with its nuclear program. They are not necessarily ready to stand on the front lines by themselves. They would prefer that Israel take the lead, or that it be a joint effort with Europe or the United Nations. But still, it is surprising that Americans are this militant, Zogby said.

Edit. Yeah like 70% favored invading Iraq... now >60% think it was a bad idea !!

Polls !! yeah right!

however, they could be correct ... many are so Fickle !!
and Stupid !

we couldn't invade Iran if we had to... we're stretched so thin we'd have to reinstate the draft... they won't do it this year if that's their plan. Maybe 2007 if they don't lose 1 or both the houses of Congress. But without conscription- they'll never get the manpower... they'd need >500,000 troops ...no little schitt like Iraq. and we'd have Vietnam level casualties. and lastly - it's probably "bankrupt' us like Afghanistan did the old USSR.

People better think... that's a fscked idea !!

David (OFI)
