In reply to:

Perhaps a shuttle made of some sort of nougat?

History would repeat itself. Nougat was first invented in 1441 in Cremona Italy. It was a tasty treat shaped like the Torrazzo Tower. All we need to do is light it and make sure Morton Thiokol doesn't make the seals.

(__*__)

Yup, Sarge...we got the thundersnow here, too.

Eric Horst—a professor of meterology at Millersville U, and who is often consulted and quoted in Lancaster Newspaper weather stories—said that one or two bolts isn't that rare, but that what we had blow through PA was VERY unusual.

We had the thundersnow here in Reading as well. Naturally it started up half way through my walking the dogs. It never fails. And my bigger dog, Aix, is terrified of thunder and lightning (and backfiring cars and fireworks and gunshots . . . .) so it was pretty nasty.

. . . . . Here's lookin' at [color:red]you kid.

Well Kahney is barking up the wrong tree - he likes Gates because he gives away more money ? how shallow can that be.

Gates -vs- Jobs
Gates is the riches man on Earth.
Gates gets quarterly earnings from MS and other holdings not to mention royalties <-- the money just keeps rolling in "remember" Gates is retired but remains as spokes person for MS.

The no brainer
Gates has to give huge donations or just piss it away in the form of "taxes"
Gates writes off the donations off set his taxes and it would not surprise me that he gets a tax return in the process.

Bottom line:
Gates gives to charities because he has too and is expected too ! ! or pay the tax on it.

Jobs;
Jobs is what the 67th richest man - not by tangible assets but rather by "Stock Options" Jobs gets paid one dollar a year from Apple the rest is in stock options. Jobs only true paycheck comes from Pixar <- no idea if Jobs has other investments or receives royalties ?

The Disney 3.7 billion was to buy Jobs 40% share in Pixar stock = For Jobs to be the biggest Disney share holder can only mean that the deal was a "Stock Swop" Jobs got no "cash" out of the deal just 3.7 billion in Disney stock in exchange for Pixar stocks that Jobs held.

Anyway
Jobs has always been a quite private man, publicly wise in the sense of backing one organization over another <- after all its gonna always piss someone off.

Bottom line;
Jobs unlike Gates simply does not have the kind of "cash" like Gates has, that he could make those kinds of Head Line donations. Sure Jobs can sell off some stock but I even don't know what those limitations are
