That game was insanely great! Vince Young is a superman! UT is my alma mater and I try to never miss a game. Young's unorthodox throwing style was hard to get used too after Simms and Applewhite but I prefer QBs who can run AND throw like Vince can. What an athelete!

What an emotional rollercoaster...I was ecstatic one minute and crushed mere seconds later. As much as I admire UT I really didn't think they could pull out a win with 19 seconds left and a 4th down play. I got really sick of hearing the sports media saying they'd never beat USC. Heck, the media also said they'd never beat Ohio State and they did, also a great game.

I had a German intern for 6 months this year and took him to Cowboys, Mavericks, Stars and Rangers games because he wanted to experience the whole "sports thing" while in the US. But he went nuts when we went down to Austin to see Texas play Kansas (who we slaughtered). The atmosphere on campus, the huge tailgate party, the excellent Shiner Bock beer on tap wherever you look and of course the amazing hot babes everywhere was almost sensory overload for him. It was a much better experience than the "pro" games we went to.

After the Cowboys gave up and bit the dust the Longhorns raised the spirit of the whole city of Dallas. I'm usually happy with UT just beating OU in the Red River Shootout but to win the National Championship...baby that's sweet!
