Peyton Manning is one tough bird. Did the Chargers figure out the Colts offensive line? He got squished way too many times. He is going to be sore tomorrow.
The Chargers were manhandling the Colts and then in the third quarter they tried to figure out a way to hand it all gift wrapped back to the Colts. But they ran out of gas.

(__*__) <-- circular sig when standing
Lets face it if the Chargers didn't turn the ball over twice handing the Colts the ball with great field position the score would have been 26-3. Or possibly 33-3.
The Colts did do one thing this season that is most likely a record. 14 games and not one pass interference call. Kind makes you go hmmmmm.

In reply to:

Th upcoming Seattle matchup will be difficult for the Colts too. My '72 Dolphins stay undefeated.

I thought for a while that Seattle would be the team that stopped the streak. And since the game is on Christmas Eve it was going to be the bestus Christmas ever . Had the Colts won today they would have tied the 72 Phins since they actually went 14-0.

Yes, heaven forbid some other team does well besides for the Pats...

OTOH, I think this loss propels Indy to the Super Bowl and a championship - too much pressure to keep up the perfect record..now they can rest guys and be ready to smash New England in the AFC title game.

<-- octagonal signature
They can't be embarrassed by Seattle so Manning will be out there. His offensive line has to figure out what went wrong yesterday or they are going to have to bring in Johnny Unitas to take the pummeling.

Then The first playoff game is against the Patriots and all the pressure in the world is going to be on Manning. (There will be none on the Pats.) But that bummed out feeling he had the last two years after Pats Playoff games will get into his head. (And it will sound like Belichick.)

Playing well in December and January is the reputation you want. Playing well in September to November doesn't quite cut it.

Couldn't Manning afford better than SuperCuts? He looks 13 after he combs his hair.

(__*__) <-- circular sig when standing
