I just turn off the speakers when I have the headphones plugged in. The woofer has the on-off button, and since it's right on my desk, it takes no effort to do it.<br><br>. . . . . Here's lookin' at [color:red]you</font color=red> kid.

yeah, i use the volume on one of the small satellite speakers because the woofer is behind my dual displays.<br><br>i keep forgetting that these speakers have on/off and volume on them. i had the apple pro speakers for so long that i just got used to everything being software dependent. <br><br>--<br>"I am mindful that diversity is one of the strengths of the country" --president bush on 9/27/05
