I just recently purchased a powerbook. I have a lot of music files on a PC to transfer. At first I was trying to do that via network, but that is complicated and tricky. I was planning on getting an Ipod and trying to tranfer the files that way.
Is this possiblem, and how is it done?

Are you talking about using your iPod as a FireWire disk and transferring the files that way?

If so, just make sure you check the 'Enable Disk Use' under your iPod prefs in iTunes, and it will appear on the desktop - you should be able to copy anything you like to the iPod and onto another machine...

Hope that helps...

Don't get an iPod just for that. You should rather get an Ethernet cable and hook them up. It's not complicated at all.

creativebits / adsoftheworld

Apple stopped producing Macs with that requirement a while ago.
