I was getting a little bored, since no one is here except me and DaddyMac right now. I going through my control panel and saw I had saved a post from awhile ago. It was fun to check it out again to see what people had posted.
MacAddicts and your significant other
Wonder if anything has changed for the rest of you guys. My situation is still the same. My honey is doing his magic trick watching the TV. I am watching HGTV and surfing the web.
Maybe some of the new guys here have something to add?

Thanks for posting this Lori! It is interesting to learn more about everyone and their lives. Before I joined the forums, I had always asked JonnyCat that same question

He always shared the interesting and fun threads with me as well. Looking back at it, I'm still studying all the time, but maybe just a little less since I joined the forums!

MrsJC

My wife only uses the Mac to check her email a couple of times a week. Other than that, she likes knitting and crochet. Those make her surf the net once a month for new patterns or designs.

Now, when it comes to chess or backgammon, I can only say RUN FOR YOUR LIFE... I breakdance when I beat her

I just had a laugh reading your old post. I remember you always so worried about making a non-mac post. I could never figure out why. Needless to say, things have changed, for the better I may add.

Since that post my wife and I still have the same Mac equipment... and while I still freelance design on mine, my wife has since dropped all the games and moved on to getting her entire CD collection onto her hard drive. It's a big tast because she has hundreds of CD's. We also have been making an effort to take more photos and make use of our .Mac account as well as iPhoto. Hopefully, we will soon begin gathering all our old video footage and making a few iMovies.

On a side note, I noticed that most everyone in that thread is still here with the exception of GrayPhoenix and SteveG. Some are just "lurkers" here, but nearly all are still regular posters here - which says a lot about the friendships we have formed here.

[color:red] Kiss My Banana!
Visit me here!
