I have an eMac that will not boot with an airport card inserted. It is a 1 GHz and takes the Xtreme card (older card does not fit slot). It only seeds one way so I am sure that it is inserted correctly. Upon reboot, it comes up Apple and grey spinning lollipop then, in a darker grey screen tell me that the Mac must be restarted in several languages. As soon as I remove the card, all is fine. It has a clean install of Tiger and a 128 (original) and 512 upgrade. Any ideas of what might help? Thanks in advance.

Make sure you push the card in all the way until it clicks into place. It's easy to do it just part way. If that fails, I suspect it's a faulty card.

Thanks for the quick response. I thought I had it in all the way but gave it another try just now. It is in all the way and recieve the same message from the Mac. Suppose I'll see if Apple will replace.
