. . . Randi Rhodes on Despair America . . .

"This President is never gonna do the right thing. I think somewhere deep down inside him he takes a lot of joy about losing people, if he thinks they vote Democrat or if he thinks they are poor, or if he thinks they are in a blue state, whatever his reasons are not to rescue those people who are (planning?) for their safety."

The left proves time and again just how deeply they hate President Bush. You can see it here daily. At MacCentral. On Despair America . . . actually saying the President "takes joy" in losing people. Liberals whined at "the tone" Republicans took toward Clinton. They still do. But the level of absolute searing hatred, not dislike: hatred, they have for George W. Bush is unprecedented. It's pathetic.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *
I [censored] bigger than you.
Why would you lump all people who lean toward more liberal social ideologies than yourself together with this person? Do you have similar theories about racial and ethnic differences as well?

trey, the sad truth is that there is seemingly no room in his completely polarized world for any thought or reality outside of his simplistic and ignorant pigeonholing categoriization of nearly everyone who may not see eye to eye with him. Subtle nuances of character and shades of grey totally escape his grasp. For or against - enemy or comrade - anything else requires too much thought and that scary leap of faith that means stepping outside the comfortable box wherein nothing ever changes. Alas, dogmatism seems to rule...

Lord knows we all have our faults, I certainly have mine. But, I would like to see just once, a break from that familiar pattern. That is probably a mistake on my part...

Best wishes to you and yours in your region.

Chris
