. . . Randi Rhodes on Despair America . . .

"This President is never gonna do the right thing. I think somewhere deep down inside him he takes a lot of joy about losing people, if he thinks they vote Democrat or if he thinks they are poor, or if he thinks they are in a blue state, whatever his reasons are not to rescue those people who are (planning?) for their safety."

The left proves time and again just how deeply they hate President Bush. You can see it here daily. At MacCentral. On Despair America . . . actually saying the President "takes joy" in losing people. Liberals whined at "the tone" Republicans took toward Clinton. They still do. But the level of absolute searing hatred, not dislike: hatred, they have for George W. Bush is unprecedented. It's pathetic.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * *
I [censored] bigger than you.
People hate Bush because Bush doesn't care abou the people. How simple is that? Now repeat after me, people hate Bush because Bush doesn't care about the people. Good job!

_________________________________________
Just a different kinda geek...

Progressives might have a little sympathy and compassion for GW if he wasn't so fscking arrogant ... if he'd admit ONE gawd damm mistake he's made. just 1 gawd damm lie he's said... but Nooooooo!

His attitude (like "you're with us or against us") doesn't make people happy...
HE did it to HIMSELF, Matt.

ANY real human would have been more engaged in N.O. than a 5000 ft fly-over... and a real President would have done a lot more BEFORE and after. but no he had to go to a CA fund-raiser... a fscking fund-raiser in the middle of a CRISIS !! Gawd, what audacity !!
Proves he doesn't give a fsck about anything except keeping power, and keeping his powerful friends "fed" with tax breaks and Govt "give-aways".

David (OFI)

In reply to:

ANY real human would have been more engaged in N.O. than a 5000 ft fly-over...

There you go exaggerating again DLC.

Bush leveled off at 1,700 feet. You could see him waving. He is a people person. That proves it.

< wheels flying off wagon >

I think Randi Rhodes will have something to say about the mention of the loss of Trent Lotts' Mississippi beach house and referring to Gulf Coast victims as "people in that part of the world."

link

trey, the sad truth is that there is seemingly no room in his completely polarized world for any thought or reality outside of his simplistic and ignorant pigeonholing categoriization of nearly everyone who may not see eye to eye with him. Subtle nuances of character and shades of grey totally escape his grasp. For or against - enemy or comrade - anything else requires too much thought and that scary leap of faith that means stepping outside the comfortable box wherein nothing ever changes. Alas, dogmatism seems to rule...

Lord knows we all have our faults, I certainly have mine. But, I would like to see just once, a break from that familiar pattern. That is probably a mistake on my part...

Best wishes to you and yours in your region.

Chris
