I must say I've never been one to get into serial shows, but at the constant pestering of my mom and my brother, I finally checked out the 'Lost' series as it's been running in its entirety on ABC for the summer.

I hadn't gotten to watch any of it until Saturday, as I had been recording them on the DVR box since early June. It's such a pleasure to be able to sit down and watch 5 or 6 of these episodes in a row, rather than having to wait like a sap until the next week. And the firmware must have been updated on my box because now I have an additional level of 'fast-forwarding'- it does 4 little arrows now instead of 3. I get through four whole commercials in about 3 seconds- and I usually overshoot the program coming back by about 3-4 minutes every time. Have to get the timing down better.

I don't think I can watch TV any other way now.

[color:orange]"There's no laws in this place. Anything goes. It's like Thunderdome!"

I, too didn't get into Lost, first-time around, but since they started it from the beginning in June, i've been hooked also.

I want to get a HD-DVR but it seems like they're only on satellite dish servives right now and they're also like $700.

so forget that.
