I have a spare mac keyboard from a G4 my wife has a pc but likes the mac keyboard can it work on a pc. I am afraid to plug it in and get the blue screen of death.

Good question.

I doubt the PC would crash, but if it did work, you'd just need to go into the bios and switch the keyboard to the USB port, otherwise the PC wouldn't get past the PS/2 keyboard port check at bootup.

It depends on the age of the PC a modern BIOS will be able to support a USB keyboard. If the Motherboard is to old to have a new BIOS their will probably be an update available. The only problem you may have is the key mappings, though you will prob. just have to remember that the apple key is the windows key.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman

It works fine on my wife's HP laptop... but the CD-eject and volume keys don't work.

CreativeGuy: Design software tips, tricks & commentary.

Apple keyboards are made by Mitsumi - and so are a lot of other PC keyboards - as Gizmo said - special keys won't work - that is, unless you get a mapping program to remap the keys.

WWW.ADZOOX.COM & www.JACKWHISPERS.COM
