Humm

I guess its a number game - really depends on how Apple counts.
So you buy an album its a "single purchase" and Apple counts it as 12 songs sold ? Humm interesting. That would mean that Apple counts songs and not purchases ?

it does say "songs downloaded" -- even if you buy an album, you still have to download each individual song.

--
Straw-man rhetorical techniques are the practice of refuting weaker arguments than one's opponents offer. 2 "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw-man argument" is 2 create a position easily refuted, then attribute that position to your opponent.

i practiced at the last 100,000 marker and i noticed the numbering sped up quicker than i could react. i wonder how early you have to hit buy to come in close to the marker? and, i wonder if i buy a lot of songs and they start downloading whether my downloads are counted in succession or whether each download is counted independent of the other songs i am downloading (meaning that thousands get downloaded in between each of my songs)??? hmmm.

--
Straw-man rhetorical techniques are the practice of refuting weaker arguments than one's opponents offer. 2 "set up a straw man" or "set up a straw-man argument" is 2 create a position easily refuted, then attribute that position to your opponent.
