So far, it kicks ten levels of ass. It e-mails the voice mail messages to me in wav format, so I can listen to them either in Mail or put all of my voice mails in an iTunes playlist. <br><br>The Linksys doohickey is coming in the mail, so I won't be able to make calls yet. Not too shabby for $24.99 a month so far. <br><br>

I have been using Vonage about two weeks Im 100% satisfied.<br>I use wireless phones and corded phones also I have wired it direct to phone box so all the phone jacks work.<br>Once you get setup go to your account and under Features you can send SPAM inviting others to join Vonage <br><br> My Ultimate Amazing Crap !

Gonna try Time Warner's Digital Phone (cable installation is this AM -- still hijacking the NYPD's wifi when I can get a signal). By itself, the Digital Phone is more $$ than Vonage, but as part of the 3-way package (TV, HSI & DP), I save about $5 over what I'd pay for Vonage plus just TV and HSI. Anxious to see how well it works.<br><br>

As I understand it, the Time-Warner (we have it around here too) system is a step up from regular VOIP like Vonage. Not sure in what way, but that's what I've heard. <br><br>

This is true- I actually spend about anther $20 a month for a landline that I keep just for emergencies...<br><br>It also serves as my fax line. <br><br>Back in Black...
