Rangers pitcher threatens and confronts cameramen

In reply to:

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Texas Rangers pitcher Kenny Rogers could face assault charges after shoving two cameramen Wednesday, sending one to the hospital in a videotaped tirade that included throwing a camera to the ground and threatening to break others.

Back in Black...
I saw that.

Now THERE'S a guy with an anger management problem. It's one thing to hate the press, to not appreciate the intrusion and to tell them what you think, but to just grab the camera off a guy's shoulder and assault him....that's ridiculous.

I think The Gambler is looking at riding the pine for a good 30 days, not to mention putting a few photog's kids through college.

There's a passage in Norman Mailer's The Executioner's Song where he describes the look on Gary Gilmore's somewhat-retarded (I think her name was April) girlfriend's face. It's something to the effect of: "You know that look you see on the slow-witted, and the crazy, where their eyes look in one direction and their lower lip points in the other."

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw that K.R. avatar.
