I've moved my web site to .Mac using external HTML. Everything works as it should, except for that damned legend at the top of the front page. It disappears once you leave the first page, but is there a way to edit it out altogether? Can't find any answers in Help.<br><br><br><br><br>

Sorry you feel we're all suckups for having .mac accounts. I don't feel the cost is such a waste rather than to bargain shop webservers and freebees. I prefer to have the integration with my desktop apps and the similar "look and feel" with my daily use.<br><br>My experience with .mac has made it a good value. I like the integration of my mail and bookmark backups & syncs. I like the simplicity of the desktop iDisk which has performed perfectly for me, I've had no problems syncing or transfering large files. I manage several email accounts, business and personal, through .mac. I like being able to sync and accesss my all my mail through my desktop or my laptop. I not a geek who wants to run lots of third-party apps, let alone spend the time to find all those that work well (and as your big concern -- offered free)<br><br>$8.25/mo is the whopping cost, more than free. In terms of my business it paid for itself the first month in saved FedEx charges. I use my iDisk for transferring client files every day. I love the simplicity of the filesharing Public Folder page, so do my clients. <br><br><br>Oh, one other thing.... I also got lots of free Garageband loops as a perk<br><br>

I already tried that Lori. Even putting everything in it's own folder in Sites, I still get the header. Right now, all the pages and images are in the Sites folder, but not in a 2nd level folder. I put the site on .Mac as a transition between Adelphia in Florida and RoadRunner in NYC. Problem is, the site is just under 5 MB (optimized), and while Adelphia provides 10MB of storage, RoadRunner is only 5 or 6, which would make it difficult to add more content.<br><br>I'll continue to mess around with it after the move.<br><br>

Upload the site to a new folder - don't use the homepage controls to add an external HTML site. It's the web control panel on .mac that is adding the extra stuff.<br><br>Connect to your idisk. Create a folder in the Sites folder. Upload your site to that folder. Don't go the web control panel.<br><br>The site will be there and untouched.<br><br>

Nope. Uploaded to a new folder, bypassed the whole Homeage thing, and guess what? Still have that dumb legend there. I'll live with it as an interim location 'til after I get movd in.<br><br>

Your page at your ISPs server - the one with just a frameset is still pointing to the homepage of .mac - you'll have to change that page to point to the new uploaded folder. If it still points to old pages, put a ? at the end of your url, your ISP may be caching it.<br><br>
