Stocks, that is. <br><br>Just wondering how difficult and/or safe it is. I was thinking of playing with a few shares of pet stocks (maybe Apple), definitely nothing serious. What trader do you use and how do you set it up?<br><br>

I use Schwab. They are very friendly and will walk you through the setup. They send all the paperwork and send updates regularly.<br>I don't know about your locatiion, but here (texas) they are very Mac friendly.<br>Good luck<br><br>

Personal trading used to be through http://www.datek.com/. I lost a lot of money after 9/11. So, I stopped trading.. Too risky IMHO...<br><br>The company I work for sends my options to https://www.etrade.com/<br><br>

A friend of mine watches web TV, gets a prinout of what he wan'ts to do.<br>He then calls his broker. He says he pays alittle more but by calling its instant, sometimes there are lag times on the net between servers or whatever before your order gets placed - well according to him.<br><br>
