John...

I'm still working with Photoshop 7.0.1, and I've never seen that, up through OS X 10.4.0 (yeah, I know, I need to get the x.x.1 update). I've never heard anyone describe this problem with the CS versions.

Additionally, I read almost every thread on the Adobe Photoshop forums, and have never seen it mentioned there. Since this seems like such a rarified anomaly I'd strongly suggest putting the same question to the brain trust over there.

Adobe User-to-User Forums Index Yes, you'll have to register, but it's a heck of a great resource.

That could be it. I use TransparentDock.

Hmm. I had a third dock icon showing up so I removed the offending icons from the dock, replaced them again, and now all is well. Things work in mysterious (to me) ways.
