I must say, when I'm looking for a soda beverage, yet don't want the caffeine, there's nothing better than Diet A&W Root Beer.

Have some sometime!

Oh, and to the anti-pop water jihadists: lick my taint.

Good point but no sense rushing it. I used Diet A&W and lite ice cream and made a float. It was very good. Sparky I hope that tidbit doesn't put you over the edge.

Funny you mention it, because the wife and I had some real ones made at home over the weekend- French Vanilla ice cream from Turkey Hill (wanted Vanilla bean but they were out), and A&W root beer (reg, not diet) in a tall glass with a long spoon and a 'bendy' straw...

It's the simple pleasures...

Back in Black...

Anybody here remember going to the franchised A&W car hop drive-in restaurants?

There was one near where I grew up, and it was such an anachronistic treat to cruise for burgers there with Mom and Dad in Dad's big ol Buick convertible.

That property is now a bait and tackle shop.
