Ahhh, I have Mask of the Phantasm. And you're right, it's a great movie. I also have to say the animated series DVDs are very well done. Great extras. Good video transfers. You're right: Mark Hamill, as a voice actor, is brilliant as The Joker. . .

I didn't hesitate in picking up all three volumes.

I see where there was also a Superman series in the mid 90s. Although I never watched it. Any good?

I know I've posted on this before, but you have to check this new series out on Cartoon Network- sort of has the same feel as the new movie- early days of the character, etc...

Back in Black...
I finally got around to seeing it today. I concur. It could have been a half hour longer and I wouldn't have minded. It was very well done. Too bad George Lucas didn't see this before making the last 3 SW films. Yes you can have action, CG AND a good script.

Huh? How does scientology fit in?

I can live with her not in the next one. Besides, if they didn't put her on the contract at the beginning for more than one movie, it's their own dumb fault.

Lucky for us, she's not central to the story. Her only purpose in the first one is to give Batman a personal stake in saving Gotham. The movie needs us to feel Batman's conflicts between his secret identiy and how the woman he cares for, sees him.
