So you give credence to myth and falsehood built around a sentence taken out of context. If you can be taken in by a lie, it doesn't help to cast your other ascertations in a favourable light.

We all do what we do for the same reason: because it seems like a good idea at the time.
_________________________ I used to think it was terrible that life was unfair. Then I thought what if life were fair and all of the terrible things that happen came because we really deserved them? Now I take comfort in the general unfairness and hostility of the universe.
"credence to myth and falsehood built around a sentence taken out of context"
nah, that'd be any Allah or Jesus freak out there trying to form a corporation or change a generation into a killing machine of lost souls... like the 10 commandments on billboards or Corans getting harrased...
idolarity seems to be the crap we put up with now and later live through the curse...

save the Earth.
Or there is no air worth breathing in many zones....

it's simplistic, as am I.

X
Since you brought up the whole personal attacks, let me shed a little light on Dissenter. Something you may not know and might change your opinion.

Before Dis had even gotten his feet wet here, he sent me a PM where he basicly said I was a bad father, hateful, etc... From that time I decided that I would not cut this putz one inch of slack. So, what looked like an unfair amount of harshness on my part for no apparent reason, was much more deserved than you thought.

Oh yeah?

Well shut your f [censored] ing hole and put up your dukes, pantywaist!

I actually wish everybody who has left would come back. I enjoy the rumble. Too bad some people take it personally. It is easy to get caught up in it, though.

Some people find themselves typing things they would never say in person, then regret it after the edit time expires. This results in the "can't we all just get along" offer to bury the hatchet via PM. Two of three days go by under the new arrangement, then the peace treaty is breached when one forum member calls the other's mother a whore, then it's on like Donkey Kong.

At the end of the day, we're all just sitting on our asses entering posts into a database from a webpage. There's nothing really "here" here. It's important to keep this (as you put it) "unbalanced hellhole" in perspective.

Sometimes it's the message, other times, its the messenger. Some like one or the other. Some don't. So what else is new? But honestly, what's the point of beating a dead horse?

I've disagreed with some who have left. But I wish they were still here none-the-less. We've poked a little fun at MacLiberals, saying how boring it must be if everyone there has the same political leaning. Well, if we keep running people off here, how is that any different from ML?

Yeah, now who has left the building? That is what I thought.

Skul was the one who was \"chewed up and spit out of the MM forums.\"

I am sad to see the news of Stan and the site.
