Well...Dell Computer has started selling Apple's iPod, according to c|net. Dell will only carry the Windows versions of the iPod, with some models currently available for order by phone from Dell. Online sales are expected to start shortly. "Yep, Dell is reselling iPods," Apple said in a statement. "We are delighted to offer our 5GB, 10GB and 20GB iPods for Windows through Dell's direct retail channel. iPod has been a big success to date, and we would like to make it even bigger."

Too Easy!

I want Apple to make OSX run on PCs too! At least we could see if latest PC hardware is really faster than mac hardware and have tons of apps for OSX cheap. Not to mention the healthy competition to MS. That would be my day!

http://raszl.net

It's too bad they're getting rid of 'Steve'- it would have been delicious irony to see him hawking a piece of Apple hardware, wouldn't it?

[color:red]Hold on...it's time for a
No Steve is being phased out.
One article puts it as that Steve did not really make an increase in sales for Dell. Another article had a completely different meaning to that Steve had made huge increases in sales from the Dude commercials, but that its now only time to move on to a different ad campaine.

Hmm..that is strange that Dell is selling iPods. Great for Apple, cause now they get the brand name out there and sales...but still..

And, I just read where Target is only selling the 10GB version of the iPod..what's up with that? damn
