Well I had to buy it so I can't comment on the worth it part.

But the two features I really like are - Spotlight and the ability to rotate the display 90 degrees.

Features that I like but think were a rip off are -

The "free" browser and RSS reader. Sorry Apple, but making people pay for an OS upgrade for a free browser upgrade makes you no better than Microsoft.

Edit: Oh wait, Microsoft doesn't require an OS update, their browser is actually free

Edited by JonnyCat on 05/31/05 07:40 AM (server time).

MS' browser ain't free no more! They announced over a year ago that standalone distributions have stopped. All new browsers will be released w/the OS (for Pay).

-------
Aren't you a little old for post-modern nostalgic irony?

I was unaware they released a new browser in the last 4 years.

or even a new OS in the last 4 years
Edited by JonnyCat on 05/31/05 06:36 PM (server time).

It's not bad. Some things I like - there are a lot of little changes that go unnoticed like the graphing app and the programmer mode on the calculator. Spotlight has some bugs though. I searched a folder for a file that contained "2.1" and it didn't find it. I later found it myself in that same folder it was searching. Also, spotlight should have database query abilities so developers don't have to write out every piece of data in individual files.
