I had PeeCee co-workers coming into my office to ask if I had heard about this yesterday. Fortunately most are computer savy enough to understand the herculean effort it would be for Apple and especially software developers to rework everything to work on Intel. If Apple is talking to Intel I am absolutely positive it isn't about CPUs. JonnyCat is on the money, memory management chips, GPUs, ethernet chips, it could be anything but I will guarantee it isn't x86 CPUs. I would think that with the big 3 consoles going to PPC that PPC chips will start going down in price.

This "report" was a blurb in the WSJ and that's about it. The only reason it was picked up by every news site was for the FUD value alone, they knew they would get mucho hits by over-zealous Apple fanboys...that and the fact that it was "reported" in the WSJ.
