Was hanging a new mailbox for my Mom, and the damn cordless drill wouldn't drill the pilot holes into the brick.

So, time for more power!

I got the holes drilled now!

Milwaukee makes great drills and recips - lousy saws and worm drives.

That is a bit much for a mail box - gheee what size of hole you need to drill ??

Try this - specs Dewalt cordless all ya gonna ever need

Drilling into solid, 200 year old brick. The 18 volt cordless I had choked.

Milwaukee makes decent stuff...they've changed hands a couple times in recent years, and they're now owned by the company that makes Ryobi.

DeWalt is solid. Milwaukee is best for the Sawzall, Hole Hawg and I like their drills.

They're coming out with a Lithium Ion battery line that's supposed to last twice as long as the 18 volt ones. We'll see.

Egads I hate Ryobi - they are considered the discount cheap arse tools, Japanese wise - Makita and even Hitach makes better tools then Ryobi - sure hope Ryobi don't drag down Milwaukee.

[color:blue]DeWalt is solid. Milwaukee is best for the Sawzall, Hole Hawg and I like their drills.

Yep thats about right thats the only 2 lines I like from Milwaukee - all others I picked up and threw down. Dewalt is giving Milwaukee drill line a run for their money. The only drill made by Milwaukee that I see now on site these days is the Hole Hawg - all other drills are Dewalt, Makita. Hitachi and Porter Cable a sorry arse last.

Certainly the durability of the tool construction counts first hand.
However Dewalt has got the idea of tool "balance" down pat. You can pick up any Dewalt tool and it just feel right in your hands they are balanced very well - all other tools are nose heavy which causes user fatigued therefore causes "carpenters carper-tunnel"

The worst of the worst has to be Skil HHAHAHAHA

Somebody else that makes pretty decent cordless drills is Panasonic.

Porter Cable sucks balls except for their routers..nice stuff. Bosch is good there too.

Ungh. Tool talk gooooooooooood! Talk like MAN! Talk computer for sissy boy and girlyman

Now, we get naked and smear selfs with Elmer's Wood Glue. Bond BIG TIME! Ungh... this gooooood!
