If not for VLC I might agree, but I ditched it a while ago. I don't see why anyone would use it over VLC unless they're having the kind of problem he described, but that's an odd issue.<br><br><br><br>

To be sure, it only seems to be with certain files that it happens. I'll admit to not really having done a whole lot of research into the matter, as I was getting pretty fed up with VLC's performance anyway.<br><br>I don't like the way it can't really scrub through video files very well. There's always this latency thing where it'll kind of stick on the frame I was viewing 'till it can catch up. Annoying as heck. MPlayer does that to an extent as well, but not as badly.<br><br>QuickTime is the best at moving through files, but it seems like every update to it limits more and more the types of video files I can watch with it. Thanks Apple.<br><br>
