...Do you change your toothbrush?

About every three weeks or so, I throw my old toothbrush away and break out a new one. If I've had a cold or the flu, the toothbrush is thrown out once every day (*I buy the cheapies for that situation*).

****************
[color:red]Fat people are harder to kidnap

Do you light candles with dollar bills?

You should either bathe your brush in an antiseptic mouthwash (like Listerine, but the cheap-o brands work great for this), or use this stuff (which is what I do):

Every 3 or 4 days they get the AquaBlast bath (they're like AlkaSeltzers), and when I have a cold they get it before every brushing. Each package comes with 16 tablets, and the pack is around or less than $2.

Oh, and a new toothbrush every 3 months. Crest Triple Effect, baby!

The toothbrushes with those rubber fingers along the edges are absolutely ghoulish.

I used to use an electric, but the tips were so damn expensive (1-pack for $9, or 3-pack for $18... gee, which one should I buy? Go f yourselves!) and they were bacteria traps (the inner workings were caked with crud).

I've heard someone with those toothbrush cleaning machines say that she's never had so many sore throats than when she used that thing. So she dumped it. I'll avoid that as well.

Yeah, I share my toothbrush with my neighbor and their dog.

I also try to get my toothbrush as dry as possible when I'm done using it. And a huge difference was made when I began using a tongue cleaner/scraper, too. I love that thing.
