Acting is overrated as a means of entertainment in a movie!

Honestly, what do you expect when you have "stars" like Ben Affleck headlining movies??? They had BETTER rely on CGI Effects, because if they rely on the acting and story lines they won't make a freakin dime!

CreativeGuy: For your "fix" of design software tips, tricks & commentary.

I sorta agree almost seems like a bandwagon CGI mentality - I guess you can blame the movie Troy for this.

Anyway the acting looks bad - seems to much of a love story plot is included. I would have to endure all that touchy feeling drama stuff just for 15 minutes of action, death and mayhem.

IMO war movies should keep the love out of it.

You're right about over the top CG battles. I think it's the human aspect that makes the battle scenes realistic. Look at Braveheart or Gettysburg or Glory. I fear the day when someone remakes a Civil War battle using CG.

And I'll bitch about the next 37, too ... ('Cause you know there'll be 37 more).

****************
[color:red]Fat people are harder to kidnap
