It's all just too hokey for me. I hate the recent Disney films because of it.

'Recent' Disney movies? I thought they ALL had songs in them, don't they?!!!

[color:red]5.19.05 - The 'Jedi Slaughter' tour begins!
I admire Pixar for not falling into the musical trap. For some reason, Disney always felt like their movies HAD to have musical numbers. They either think kids will zone out without some sort of rhythm to keep their neanderthal minds focused, or the musical numbers are a substitute for writing dialogue.

Anyway, Little Shop of Horrors is the only full-on musical I can stand. Not sure if Willy Wonka qualifies or not. Wizard of Oz needs to go away now. I respect the production value, but enough's enough.
