This is what you need. It gives you full control over your iPod, and since you have an aux port it should be no problem. You will need to get it installed at a radio shop. It is basically what BMW is using.

Dension Icelink Plus

Salus populi suprema lex

Hey there EZ-Rider (and to all here at MM),

Unless I'm mistaken, Sam and I have the same deck in out respective cars-- a head unit made by JVC. It was upon his recommendation that I purchased the deck in my car (thanks, skrue!) Here is a picture of it as installed in my '98 Prelude...

I purchased it form http://crutchfield.com and have been very happy with it. It sounds far better than my stock system, and it wasn't really that expensive (around 200 dollars).

I had a look at the crutchfield website just prior to this post to find that the model that I purchased is no longer available. But this one seems to be pretty much the same, and could very well be better:

New JVC

I didn't spend more than a minute or two at the crutchfield site, buy I did spy a whole section dedicated to iPod/Audio solutions. It might be worth a look!

So if I don't get that installed and I have an auxiliary port can I still use my iPod? Is it just that I have to control it from the iPod rather than the whole thing controlled through the stereo? I'm not sure how this all works but I have an inkling.
