They have some new designer now at BMW giving the cars this new look. I don't care for it much myself. The new Z4 is pretty ugly too, too bad, they used to be nice cars. The 5 and 3 series are still nice though. Just the 7 and Z series are looking kinda crappy.

I agree... the car designs are getting worse... it's a shame what they've been doing to the Corvette since the beautiful Stingray's of the past... I could almost stand the vette body style of the 80's and early 90's... but these newest ones are just freakin ugly as sin!

Sorry, John... but the ass end of those things are stupid looking and the interiors remind me of a cheap Ford truck.

[color:red] Kiss My Banana!

I think the new 'Vette looks quite nice actually.

The things I don't like in the design trends in today's cars are the boxy, sharp angles and edges on some of them. The Cadillac CVS or whatever that one is called, now that is ugly. Then things like that Pontiac Aztec Van/SUV thing, or the big ugly SUV than converts into a pickup. Then Japanese design for the most part sucks these days with a few exceptions.

Why don't you like the sharp edges? Cadillac is masculine like a Volvo. I'd save the curves for my babe, but my vehicle should look like a real man's toy. I love my Cherokee Classic.

http://raszl.net

I have nothing against the Cherokee Classic, that one is fine. Just the big and massive look, macho or whatever they think it is supposed to represent -- just butt ugly all over if you ask me. Just no elegance.
