Yahoo to increase storage to 1GB

If they really want to impress me, offer free POP access and get rid of that idiotic advertisement stamp at the bottom of every outgoing e-mail. Until then, Gmail rules the roost.

Cool, well I guess all of the free accounts I get with my DSL subscription will be getting bumped too! And they DO have POP access

I just wish they would throw IMAP access in there sometime...

You can easily download your mail to your Mac, and store it there.

Although IMAP is better than POP. You can choose to store it on server folders, or move them to local folders.

Yes I realize it I can do that but what is the advantage of doing that? I mean is that more secure or more convenient? I have stopped using Mail altogether simply because it's MUCH more convenient for me to simply use Yahoo's web mail. I would certainly be willing to switch back to Mail if there was a compelling reason to do so.

If i had mail that was really important I would certainly do that so I can understand why someone would want that feature now. As it is If i need to do that I simply copy it or email it to my work account, but If i had a LOT of mail it would be silly to do it that way.
