Our local newspaper has just gone all Apple in it's production. Writers have been equipped with Apple laptops, InDesign CS for page production, Apple Macintosh "minis" or Apple iMac pagination stations ,etc. "The system relies on Apple computers, known for exceptional adaptability with graphics applications." Big front page article.

Great but WoW way late - the Honolulu Advertiser has been all Mac ever since as-well as the Honolulu Magazine. In fact the only publication here thats not Mac based is the Maui News PC based and they already have missed a production run because of as they called it system problems = LOL

Well this ain't Honolulu. It's a small city newpaper that belongs to a chain...and they aren't known for spending money. Their photographers usually last several whole months...before they move on to jobs where they actually get payed.

Yep
Just like the Maui news they went with PCs because of the low initial set up cost - and have been paying through their nose ever since at the back end. Go figure ?

Anyway let us know if you see a print quality difference in the paper, sorta a before then after
