I have never posted and I do not know why I havn't. I have an old iPod that I would like to fix up and leave in the RAV. I have the orginal iPod in the 5GB model. The hard drive clicks loud and the sad iPod face comes up everytime. Has anyone replaced the Hard Drive in these. I have been able to get inside it in the past. I did not mind carfully opening after I got a new iPod Photo. I want to go be cheep with fixing it. Thanks. I will have to start posting. You seem like a fun group. :-)<br><br>www.patgamble.com

Here's the direct link in case anyone doesn't want to wade through the site...<br><br>I was wondering if there was any hack-around to convert an old 3G iPod into an iPod Photo? When I bought my iPod Photo Apple told me that there was no difference in the New 60GB and the old one. It was just packaged differently and comes with less stuff. <br><br>Cheers!<br>Patrick<br><br><br>www.patgamble.com

Well there must be *some* significant differences- after all you're able to view the photos on the screen on the newer ones, and I don't see that happening on an older model.<br><br><br><br>[color:red]5.19.05 - The 'Jedi Slaughter' tour begins!</font color=red>
