GM goes in cycles....they'll be fine. I think the problem is right now gas prices are hurting SUV and truck sales, and car sales have never been spectacular in recent years for GM. They've got so many new models.

Talk about wretched excess and insane design - I saw a PT Cruiser yesterday with a spoiler. Oh well, maybe it will help in getting from 0 to 60 in less than three days.

So, a guy walks inot the auto parts store and says, "I'd like a hub cap for my PT Cruiser." The clerk says, "Sounds like a fair trade to me!"

Heh heh. My wife's aunt has an Element. It's an ugly vehicle for sure, but for her (she camps/scuba dives) it's extremely practical.

It looks like the station wagon is coming back. Although nobody wants to call it a station wagon. I guess the perceived high cost of fuel is driving this. (pun intended)

Heehee the PTs were designed to attract the surfing crowd I read. I've never seen anyone in one young enough to surf. Reportedly, they miscalculated the target age group.
These HHRs are going to appeal to the hybrid crowd. It has an Ecogreen engine.
Does anyone remember the old panel vans? The original UV? (not 'S' mind you) That is what they look like to me. My parent's took my brothers' band to a lot of teen dances in the mid-60s in one of those. That was before they got an Econoline to pick up the groceries for their grocery store.
