What an absolute piece of garbage!

I downloaded the trial onto a PC (2.67ghz, 1GB RAM Compaq) and set it up. I then went to install Panther.

First of all, when it works, it is slower than dogsh!t. Wait..it's even slower than that. Imagine running Virtual PC for OS X (the very first carbonized beta of version 5) on a rev A iMac with 128MB of RAM. Now, imagine saying "wow...this crappy version of Virtual PC is 100 times faster than Cherry OS!"

The furthest I got in the install was to the instalation window (that's exactly how the app spells "installation," with one "L,") and it died every time. All this is, as you may have heard, is an entire rip-off of the PearPC project. On top of that, the entire app's alert windows are filled with broken English. A nice touch!

Apple needs to sue these bastards off the face of the Earth. It is possible when it works to see a day where maybe there could be PC emulation of OS X. However, these lousy morons that created Cherry OS have no chance of ever being a part of it.

Grade: F -

Pros: None.

Cons: Worthless piece of trash that will infuriate you to the point of wanting to drive to the developer's house and beat them about the head and shoulders. Not even worth the downloading time.
