I sent in my iBook for repair. See: http://www.macfixitforums.com/php/showfl...p;o=7&part=

Now the Airport antenna doesn't work! Anyone else had problems with the airport antenna? I am sooo angry with Apple now! I know they broke it, becuase the metal is dented in right next to the cable. Also, I have some audio problems. I need a new logic board! WTF Apple, get your s@#$ togather!

[color:red]-- John Bailey ( [color:red]Bdog )

[color:blue]Email Me! [color:green]bdog_111@yahoo.com

It really sucks mate.

I sent my PB in for a warranty repair (failed CPU) and it came back with a crack at the base of the machine. They tried to blame me and even the courier when the fact remained that the PB came out of their "special" box with the cracks.

It took about two months to finally get it fixed as I had to leave the country for a month and I wasn't going without my PB.

UPDATE!!!:

Now guess what? I sent it in for repair the SECOND time, and now it's been gone for 16 days as of right now!! They say they fixed the airport antenna, and since they did a crappy job of fixing the hinge, I TOLD them to fix the hinge again, they still havent said anything about the hinge! Now, they are waiting on a part, & that's why it's been gone for so long! But guess what, they're waiting on this part because THEY broke it (again!)! It's the casing that is by the keyboard, they said it's scratched! Was it like this before I sent it in, OF COURSE NOT! Now guess what? They said that the logic board wasn't getting power continueaslly. Was it like this before I sent it in, OF COURSE NOT! And now, somehow, the trackpad is bad, but "Was it like this before I sent it in, OF COURSE NOT!". I hate their lack of quality control!!!!!!!!!

THAT TOTALS THEM BREAKING THE COMPUTER IN 4 DIFFERENT PLACES!!!

[color:red]-- John Bailey ( [color:red]Bdog )

[color:blue]Email Me! [color:green]bdog_111@yahoo.com
