My DVR is connected to my TV in the family room, my Mac is in the bedroom. What's the best way to get the movies transfered to my G5? Could I use my iPod maybe?

Yikes- video takes up an awful lot of HD space- what is the ultimate goal here, simply to take the shows you record on your DVR box, and burn them to a DVD for later viewing?

If that's the case, I would suggest a standalone DVD burner & just connect it to the DVR box- they go for about $300...

[color:red]MLB, O&A - only on XM! There must be something smiliar going on with the 'Best Of' SNL DVDs, because I picked up the best of Will Ferrel 1 & 2 the other week, and there's a crapload of material that could have been included but just wasn't.

The Neil Diamond/Storytellers skit, for example- one of the funniest things I've seen in recent memory, but absent from both discs. So maybe something to do with the songs in the piece- or just that Neil himself forbade it?

[color:red]MLB, O&A - only on XM! Sign up now and drive up my stock...
I think it's just more shortsightedness on the part of the music industry. If the DVDs never get released, then they make no money. If they would take less of a royalty, they would still get some money, and the consumer would get the product.
