#2187 - 08/05/0104:05 AMGermantown TN says NO to Apples
Why isn't it surprising that Apple's logo ran afoul of the the city's ordinaces. I'd expect nothing less from the only state in the Union that doesn't sanction the teaching of either Creationism or Evolution in the school system. Apple computers are meant to be, and face facts here, used only by the terminally smug and hip computer user.
Obviously Germantown doesn't have what it takes to qualify.

The Golden Retriever-a wonderous creation.
No smugness, and certainly no hipness at this end of things. Germantown sounds like it's too rich for its own good. Probably has lots of other silly rules, like no hanging laundry outdoors.

And that's true too.--Shakespeare, King Lear
