I'm kinda lucky that I didn't have to replace a lot of old stuff by the time that CDs came out. I only had a few dozen cassette tapes, and I only really started getting into music around my college years.

Well I worked at a record store in the late 70s (my first job) and literally bought entire artist's catalogs because our employee price was like $2.99 per album. $4.99 for double albums. Needless to say I spent most of my weekly paychecks on music. I got a few rare discs there, like a UK edition Sgt. Pepper picture disc. Anybody remember picture discs? Or a Beatles White Album printed on white vinyl...ooooh far out man. Collectible? I guess.

I have about 1000 LPs. Taking up room. I'm going to get rid of them soon. I was thinking about getting a few of those album frames and framing some of the really nice covers and hanging them in my home office.

It sounds like you have some valueable stuff there.

*tsk* *tsk* look at those playcounts. Most of the songs from Back in Black = "1"?!?... and you call yourself a "fan"?

Looks more like a "drunken downloader" to me.

--------------------
