I think it was 1996, but I was in the midst of an ice storm in Spokane, WA. I was at a friend's house fixing his PC and heard the freezing rain outside... We drank warm tea and everything was swell. After about 2 hours it was dark outside and I decided to go out and WOW it was all ice. I can't find any images online... but there was at least 2 inches of THICK ice on one side of my car. I couldn't open the door on that side of the car!<br><br>The images you show reminds me of that storm...I also found this one <br><br>
Very interesting seems the ice was only in a 8 to 10 foot height anything above that had no ice. Plus only about a 30 foot reach.<br><br>Example the buildings had no ice and the boats in the marina on the side that is away from the open lake also had no ice ? humm.<br><br>
