I know some people who own a couple hundred movies. Me, I'm kind of picky. I think I have about 15. I have to really like a movie to buy it. Otherwise, I could rent it any time.

What was the last movie you bought for your DVD library?

Loc: United States
I only buy a movie if I know I'm going to want to watch it over and over...

Last one here was the LOTR: ROTK Platinum extended edition...

5 HOURS with all the new scenes- good gravy.

[color:red]Go, Team Venture!

I buy movies that have exceptional direction. Those I will watch again and again or at least parts of it. I also buy good comedies. Dumb & Dumber is just one that I can watch again and again. Most of my DVDs are live concerts though. Sheryl Crow Globe Sessions is very good. I also have Sade Lovers Live, Paul McCartney Back in the U.S. Live, Peter Gabriel Secret World Live, Peter Gabriel Growing Up Live. I saw all these concerts so they are like replaying great memories.

"Most of my DVDs are live concerts though"

Me too. I also recommend Coldplay' 'Live 2003', U2's 'Elevation Tour 2001' (great show that really should have been filmed in widescreen??!) and Neil Finn's "Sessions at West 54th". I also just bought 'Hard Days Night'.

I will buy any video that I plan on watching more than 4 times. I think I have about 100. Last one I bought was the Bourne Supremacy.

Next one I buy will probably be the Incredibles - or if I see Season 2 of Samurai Jack.
